Pressure
There are times when it feels like you are being pressed in from all sides; under total attack. The answer is not to try and fight back against those things, but to press into God. He is the overcomer; He is the victorious one. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Pressure is going to happen, are you going to get depressed and deflated, or are you going to get compressed and refined?
Be encouraged and be blessed.

I feel like that most days.
I like your blog. I like the tagline too…I don’t have God figured out either. Most days I’m ok with it…
Thanks for visiting my blog. Keep writing!

Thanks for reading, and thanks for the comment. I hope that it helped.
The pressure is necessary, just like a diamond is the result of a lot of pressure. The trials of this world help us to move forward and to look to God as our answer. Many times we try to avoid the hard times, or ask God to remove them from us…no doubt that they can be very hard and we get stretched, but we come to know God on such a new level and our faith increases. If we would only seek after God with our whole hearts, the trouble doesn’t stop, but Peace that passes all understanding enters our hearts and they don’t seem to be such a big deal anymore.

I once heard it said, i think by Psr. James MacDonald, that if you don’t have any problems, you are doing something wrong. Isn’t that the truth? If life is too easy…and you are just comfortable…then are you truly being faithful? I know the times I really seek God and cling to Him are the times I end facing a trial. But I am so greatful that I have God because what a hopeless existence this would be if I didn’t understand that truth!
God bless!
